The aim of the installation carried out by Cleia is to control and re-equip the empty gas bottles used and returned by the client in order to re-package them at the new Air Liquide Île-de-France site.

The bottles are placed on the automated line by industrial truck drivers in baskets which are automatically transferred to operator stations. Four ergonomic and secure operator stations make it possible to take charge of the bottles in order to remove used equipment from the metal cylinder such as caps, valves etc. These stations are equipped with different automated tools to simplify the operations and make the installation effective.

The bottles are then taken care of by a robot installed on a linear axis to transfer them to the different positions:

• Shot-blasting/painting cabin
• Bottle marking equipment
• Test bench
• Final testing and marking
• Storage buffer

The installation is completed by Wonderware supervision allowing real time monitoring of the bottles on the automated line.
