Tile Robotisation – France

A significant portion of this modernisation concerns the packaging line which has been fully replaced.

It meets several requirements:

• High-speed gentle handling: Calibrated for 7000 tiles/hour, this line packages large format tiles into mini packets and controls the automatic single quality of the products. 6 robots package the tracked tiles without any mechanical constraints on the products.
  
• Reliability of the process: The connection of 2 robots to 6 strapping machines enables the management of potential incidents regarding the strapping of the mini packets, without stopping the line or decreasing the speed.
   
• Improved Ergonomics and Maintenance: the line has been fully designed to facilitate access for the operators and to the maintenance works, which contributes to the well-being and safety of all the line operators.
