For MX Mailleux, manufacturer of handling equipment for farmers, Cleia has automated 2 Jean Perrot folding machine presses with different types of technology.
The first installation is designed for the stacking of thick parts. A robot on a suspended linear axis is used for the stacking and handling. The magnetic gripping of the metal parts guarantees position maintenance with reduced contact points for relatively heavy parts. This establishment allows clear access for the folding machine when the robot is in standby position.
The second installation is designed to optimise the production of parts with 2 robots operating alternately during the unworked and folded part handling and folding operations. The safety of the cell without stationary barriers in the interface areas with the operators has been especially examined to give unmatched accessibility and an unmatched ergonomic design and performance.
