Palletisation of flexible bags and seals
Multiple formats

The palletisation of ready to use coated seals and bags is established near the storage locations of this new unit. The installation executed by Cleia enables the palletisation of 2 very different packaging formats:

• Rigid seals with handles in various formats and weights
• Liquid coated flexible bags

The bags are taken by a spiral conveyor above the palletisation zone and loaded into cardboard boxes with an articulated shovelling device on the robot arm.

The seals are taken to a handle orientation station, then stacked onto pallets with a suction gripper.

To palletise this variety of products, it is just the same robot equipped with an automatic tool changer and 7 specific grippers which is the distinctive feature of this installation.
